"The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away."

This is a lovely quote, but I don't know who should be credited for, since it is often attributed to William Shakespeare or Pablo Picasso on social networks like Facebook and Pinterest. I checked with Quote Investigator and apparently there is no substantive evidence linking this expression to one or another. After all, who cares. The statement is good, meaningful and useful.

Yesterday I made this piece for my very dear friend. It was that kind of work that is so filled with positive emotions, that I enjoyed very much. And if that means I've found my gift I also gave it (or at least a part of it) away today. My friend was very happy with it and that's what matters.

I noticed people love home made gifts, especially people who love nice things and appreciate handmade work. A piece like this is not complicated to make, it surelly takes few hours, but the result is worth it. When I start on a new piece I'll try to make a short tutorial for you to see the work proces and to encourage you to try it yourself.
